When
we started on our ‘environmental journey’ we had lots of enthusiasm
and very little idea. We knew we needed help. Tony was recommended
by the Park Royal Partnership and from the moment he came on board
we haven’t looked back. Just 8 months after our first meeting we are
now the proud recipients of ISO14001 Certification. Brilliant!

We
were introduced to Tony quite a number of years ago when we
were looking for someone to assist us with Health & Safety
within our Company. We
had spoken to several people who we were not impressed with – they
had made the subject sound extremely complicated, used a lot of
complicated jargon and we got the impression that they didn’t
actually want us to understand the subject so that they could be
retained for more and more hours of billable work.
As
soon as we met Tony, we knew that he would work with
us as opposed to for us. He checked to see what
we had in place already and then informed us what new topics we
would need to add along with some amendments to what we already had;
for instance where legislation had changed.
Tony
came up with a phased plan, which meant that putting it in place was
very manageable. He
then introduced an annual calendar for us to work with spreading
some of the quarterly or annual task over the year and helped us and
trained our team so that much of what needed to be done could all be
done in house. Whilst we now do a lot of the leg work ourselves, Tony still
visits us twice per year to make sure we are keeping our house in
order and to keep us updated on changes in legislation, if queries
come up, he is just a phone call away.
Over the last year, Tony has assisted us greatly
working closely with us on Environment matters - we needed much
more assistance with this; however Tony developed a similar approach as he
had done with H&S and with a little bit of work on both our parts,
we very recently received our full UKAS accreditation for
ISO14001. With his assistance we are now accredited
with Safe Contractor, CHAS and Safe4Site.
We
are often quite careful recommending others; however we would be
more than happy to recommend Tony to any Company looking for
assistance or guidance with either H&S or Environmental
objectives. Compared to
some of the bigger Companies that we spoke to, his approach has been
a breath of fresh
